The general terms & conditions apply when you as a consumer (the “Customer”) place an order via www.carledmond.com (the “Website”).
In order to place an order through the Website, the Customer must accept the Terms & Conditions. By accepting the Terms & Conditions the Customer undertakes to comply with the General Conditions in its entirety and acknowledges that he/she has read the information and consents to the use according to Carl Edmonds Terms & Conditions.
You can at any time remove a product from the cart before you have placed an order.
To place an order you click on “PLACE ORDER”.
Once we have received your order we will send an electronic confirmation to your e-mail address as a confirmation of your purchase. It is important that you enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend saving this e-mail since the order confirmation (receipt) also serves as guarantee of proof of the purchase.
Payment, prices & fees
The prices are presented in either SEK, EURO (€) or DOLLAR ($). You choose your currency by choosing Sweden, Europe or Global in the left hand corner of the website.
The price you see on the product(s) is the total price (excl. potential import and custom fees – read more about this under ‘taxes’). Carl Edmond offers free global shipping and returns.
We accept most major credit- and debit cards (e.g. Visa, MasterCard and American Express) and other local payment methods. If your payment is not confirmed, your order will not get processed.
All prices shown on the Carl Edmond website, www.carledmond.com, are including VAT, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
Please note that in case of an order shipped to a delivery address outside the EU, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes. It should be noted that Carl Edmond has no control over these charges and, since these charges differ between countries, Carl Edmond cannot predict their amount. Carl Edmond advise you to contact your local customs office for further information.
Carl Edmond ships worldwide. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners. Standard delivery time is estimated to 3-5 business days.
In cases you as a customer feel the delivery is delayed in such a way you no longer wish to fulfill the purchase, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has confirmed with Carl Edmond either by e-mail or telephone. If a product has been discontinued, Carl Edmond has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to the customer. Carl Edmond will notify the customer if a replacement or equivalent product is available.
Returns & exchange
Costumers have the right to return the product(s) within 14 days from receiving the order. The right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as when received. A return can only be made after the customer has collected and received the package. If a customer use its right to return an order, they should use the return form that is included in the delivery. Return costs are covered by Carl Edmond if the product(s) are in its original shape. Please note that import duties and taxes will not be refunded.
Please insure that the product needs to be in its original shape when returning it and have a tag, plastic on product, non-bent strap, stopper on the crown and be packed in leather box with its accessories. If the product is missing anything of this above Carl Edmond have the right to demand a cost of 5€ from you for a non-complete return. If the product have been used Carl Edmond have the right to return the product to you.
If a customer lives in a geographical area where the national postal service does not offer returns, the customer may be obliged to pay the return costs. If an item is damaged during transport, Carl Edmond should be contacted within 14 days for information about compensation.
All approved refunds will get processed within 14 days of arrival to our warehouse. Bear in mind that the bank transfer might take a couple of banking days to be visible in your account.
Please contact our Customer Service if you have not received the refund within 20 days.
All products are covered by a 3 year warranty (2 years + 1 year upon registration), valid from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects on the watch itself (movement, case, crystal). Other parts than mentioned above are not covered by this warranty. To have replacement covered during this warranty, please contact us at email@example.com.
In the e-mail you need to specify:
- Your name
- Order Number
- Detailed description of the issue
Use ‘reclaim of purchase’ as subject of the e-mail or letter.
Return costs are covered by Carl Edmond. If Carl Edmond cannot find any defects listed above, the product will be returned to the customer.
Note that repairs/replacements in following cases are not included in the warranty:
Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification
Failure or damage caused by fire or water, or a natural disaster such as for example an earthquake
Esthetical changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches, etc.; on the case and/or crystal, alteration of the color on the wristband and the peeling of the plating)
In case the retail store and the purchase date are not indicated on the warranty, or if this information has been rewritten
If the warranty is not submitted along with the watch.
Battery replacement will be charged even during the warranty term.
The case, dial, hands, crystal, watchband or other parts thereof may be replaced with substitutes if the originals are not available.
This warranty warrants that you can receive free replacement in accordance to the terms set forth herein and within the specified term, and shall not restrict any lawful right of the Customer.
We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made through this Website. The promotional discount code cannot be combined with other offers and is only valid one (1) time per customer. The conditions of use relating to any discount code will be specified at the time of issue.
Gift vouchers are only valid for a limited time and the voucher must be used by the date shown on the voucher – check your voucher to find out how long it is valid.
Carl Edmond do not take any responsibility for stolen or deleted gift vouchers.
Additionally, Carl Edmond do not take responsibility for any gift vouchers that are lost or used by someone other than the recipient after delivery.
If a refund has been granted, this will be made in the same way as the original payment method.
It is important that you as a customer carefully check your goods / products when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the product(s) is not damaged and that the product(s) is correct. If your product is damaged during transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden, you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. If you receive your item and see that it is damaged or does not match the one you ordered, you shall also contact Carl Edmond within 14 days from receiving the product.
Any complaints shall be made to our customer service through our contact form on the contact page. Please include your order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you shortly. Same applies for returns. Defective products returned to Carl Edmond should be treated as if they were faultless. It is in all types of returns extremely important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged during transit. Carl Edmond has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund. In the case that a returned product has no errors or faults, Carl Edmond will return the product(s) to the customer.
Carl Edmond’s responsibility for errors in connection to delivery is limited to existing conditions of sale. Carl Edmond bears no direct or indirect responsibility for example, but not limited to: incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm.
Carl Edmond shall be exempt from liability for damages and other flaws on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. Circumstances included are: government intervention, new / amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labor disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions, lack of delivery from suppliers or if the company is being exposed to criminal activity that affects the business.
Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright, on the website and in the material published on it, is owned by Carl Edmond or its subsidiaries or licensors. Any use of the site or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of Carl Edmond.
The www.carledmond.com website may include user generated content from for example social media applications. Carl Edmond does not claim any ownership in rights in such content (images, photos and videos etc.) and take no legal responsibility for it. In case you suspect a violation of copyright, or any other right, or otherwise is offended by such content, please contact our customer service.
Retention of title
All products remain in Carl Edmond’s property until full payment is made.
All frauds are reported to the authorities and Carl Edmond reserves the right to cancel the purchase if any suspicion is raised.
